For one special night, American composer and artist Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith invites you to dive into a warm bed of squiggly synths, ethereal vocals and otherworldly emotions.  

In 2022, Smith released her ninth studio album, Let’s Turn It Into Sound, to rapturous reviews. Over a decade of releases, most recently for Ghostly International, the producer’s output has swung between gentle music for yoga and meditation to experimental brain-benders. The one constant is Smith’s array of rare modular synthesisers (including her beloved Buchla), which she uses to create soundscapes that stretch time and space.  

Smith made Let’s Turn It Into Sound over three frenzied months alone in her home studio, using her usual toolkit of synths, orchestral flourishes and a new vocal processing technique that helped her push beyond traditional song structures. Translated to the stage at The Weary Traveller, it’s sure to be a feast of electronic delights.
